Rapid Antigen Testing

The rapid COVID test is administered at the point of care by nasal swab by a medical assistant or primary care provider. The rapid antigen test can return results showing whether the patient is infected with acute COVID-19 the same day, as opposed to the 3-5 day estimated wait for most nasal swab tests.

The rapid COVID test reveals only whether the COVID-19 virus is currently present. It does not test whether or not the patient has previously been infected by COVID-19, or whether any other viruses are currently present. The test does not react to the presence of any other seasonal coronaviruses.

You should get a Rapid COVID Test if you:

  • Think they may have COVID-19
  • A NEED for same-day results
  • Need results to get back to work or school.
  • Need results to travel or be accepted into the state or USA.
  • You don’t mind paying cash for the test.

PCR (Molecular) Testing

The COVID Molecular PCR Test detects the genetic material of the virus using a lab technique called polymerase chain reaction (PCR). This test can also be called a PCR test. A health care worker will collect fluid from a nasal swab. You will be able to see results in three to five days if sent to an outside lab. We highly recommend consumers against buying unapproved home tests. This may be inaccurate and unsafe.

You should get COVID Molecular PCR Test if you:

  • Think you may have COVID-19, but there is no rush to get results.
  • No need for immediate results. Willing to wait 1-3 days.
  • Would potentially like insurance to cover the test.

Travel PCR testing

The Travel COVID Molecular PCR Test detects the genetic material of the virus using a lab technique called polymerase chain reaction (PCR). This test can also be called a PCR test. A health care worker will collect fluid from a nasal swab.

Your results will be expedited due to urgency of flight. your will receive your results within two days. We highly recommend consumers against buying unapproved home tests. This may be inaccurate and unsafe. These unapproved tests will not be honored at your departure or arrival airports.

You should get Travel Molecular PCR Test if you:

  • Are traveling within a the next week
  • Need faster than normal results
  • 2 day turn-around time
  • Travel Certification Letter included

Antibody testing

The COVID-19 Antibody Test is a blood test that provides qualitative and qualitative detection of IgG antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 in individuals suspected of having COVID-19. After infection, the virus antigen stimulates the immune system to produce antibodies that can be detected in the blood.

Combined with the PCR Swab Test (see below), the COVID-19 Antibody Blood Test offers a valuable diagnostic tool in identifying infected patients. According to recent studies, the COVID-19 antibodies are not detectable before 3 days after onset of symptoms or at least 7 to 10 days after infection.

However, antibody tests can detect past infection because virus-specific antibodies can persist in the blood for several weeks/months after the onset of symptoms. Since the exact time of infection is often unknown, combining nasal swab and blood test can improve the accuracy of the COVID-19 diagnosis.

You should get a COVID-19 Antibody Test if you:

  • Think you may have had COVID-19.
  • Wish to see if you could be a blood plasma donor.
  • No need for immediate results. Willing to wait 1-3 days.

FAQ

Question: Do I need an appointment?

Answer: We strongly encourage you to book your appointment ahead of time. At this time, we do not handle appointments over the phone. The information you provide during the registration process will be securely and safely stored on our encrypted servers and transmitted to our laboratories.

Question: Do you accept my insurance?

Answer: All PPO and Medicare Insurance can be accepted for the PCR and Antibody tests. Some limitations may apply. For the Rapid Antigen test with results in 30 minutes, insurances are not accepted.

Question: Is the sample collection painful?

Answer: No, the test will not hurt! Our test kits are validated for anterior mid-nasal collection, which means that the swab is inserted less than one inch into the nostril. This collection process is much more comfortable than the nasopharyngeal collection used in most hospitals and public testing locations.

Question: When should I arrive?

Answer: Please arrive to our testing site 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. If for any reason you are running earlier or later than your appointment time we will be able to accommodate.
